In this article, I want to share my personal experience of finding the tricks that worked best for me and how you, too, can achieve great results by embracing change at the same time, catering for your individual needs.

Despite having 24/7 access, my busy schedule prevented me from attending regularly, and my intentions were overshadowed by the demands of everyday life. I am sure you can resonate if you have ever paid for a gym membership. Frustrating right…? I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a fitness routine that fits my lifestyle.

Discovering My Own Path:

Instead of the gym, I turned my daily commute into a physical activity. Walking to the train station and opting for the stairs at the office provided me with the exercise I needed. It was working well until the pandemic hit, disrupting our lives in unimaginable ways. Working from home, movement restrictions and stress-induced snacking took their toll, leading to an unexpected weight gain. That's when I realised I needed to find a new approach.

Designing a Tailored Solution:

I made a conscious decision to incorporate exercise into my daily routine once again. Dropping off the kids at school earlier allowed me to squeeze in a jog or walk before starting my workday. I also dedicated time to indoor workouts in the afternoon. But that wasn't enough—I knew I needed to address my eating habits too. So, I sought guidance from a nutritionist and made small, healthier changes to my diet. The transformation began, and in just a few months, I had shed 10 kilograms.

Assess their suitability, advantages, and drawbacks in relation to your unique circumstances. By considering various options, you'll gain a broader perspective and make an informed decision.
